Ingredients
- 90 mls Jim Beam White 700ml
- 2 Dashes Angostura Bitters 200ml
- 1 Cube of Kuru Sato (Roughly 1 tsp.)
- 2 1/4" Slices of Ginger
- 10 mls Kuru Sato Ginger-Syrup
- Orange Peel for Garnish
- Muddler
- Cocktail Shaker
- Ice
- Rocks Glass
Instructions
Time to get busy with this traditional style Cocktail.
To Make the Syrup.
Combine sugar with Ginger and 240mls of water. Bring to the boil and immediately reduce heat to a simmer.
cook for five minutes. Remove from heat and steep Ginger for another five minutes.
Strain mixture and chill. This makes approx 1 cup. This syrup will keep refrigerated for up to two weeks.
To Make the Coctail.
In a Cocktail Shaker, muddle sugar cube, Ginger and Bitters. Add the Syrup and Bourbon.
Stir and strain into a rocks glass over ice.
Garnish with the Orange Peel.
Serves One.
