Over this period there has been plenty of time for the variety to mutate and produce different forms in Pinot Meunier, Pinot Gris and Pinot Blanc. The diversity of colour, flavour and aromatics across the mutations is vast. Interestingly, all are genetically identical and hence the name "Same Same but different."
