Planted in 1985, close vine spacing, lots of hard work, deep red basalt soils. Typically produces highly aromatic red fruited Pinot Noir that is seriously charming.
Tight structure, great energy, fine tannins, textural, long gentle flavours. Delicious drinking now but will develop into a wine with even more complexity and interest in 4-5 years.
