There are delightful aromas of fresh honeysuckle, green pear and subtle lemon in this sophisticated, vibrant wine. This is a light bodied wine with juicy pear, lemon barley characters and hints of honeydew melon. The palate is soft with a touch of creaminess.

Pinot Gris can vary in the amount of colour picked from the berries and this year there is that slight tell-tale sign of a pink skinned white. Lifted floral and ester characters dominate the aroma with a background of musk. The palate has richness to it, partly from the 13.5% alcohol and partly form solids left in the juice to give that extra layer of complexity. Very pleasant pear and honeysuckle flavours, long finish and perfect balance on the finish.

Aromatics of Poached pears and green apples with underlying nuances of brioche and nougat follow though to a crisp fresh palate. Partial barrel fermentation adds depth, complexity and length.

Cool climate grapes, grown in Victoria, have been picked at just the right time, building a wine that's designed to drink young, with raspberry liquorice, cherries and white pepper across the palate.
