The Straw flask (Fiasco) born in Tuscany in 1300 to protect the glass from breakage dring transportation and keep the wine temperature stable. It was immediately a big success of sales, and the straw flask became the traditional bottle always used in the home consumption. The Fiasco still maintains its big popularity today and makes Chianti wine be recognized everywhere in the world.

Morellino Made from Sangiovese grapes and produced in Scansano, on the southern coasts of Tuscany, where the ancient Etruscan people built their civilization, this wonderful red wine honours i'ts precious origins. It has a deep ruby-red colour with a burst of fresh cherry on the nose and a wrapping full taste with hints of red fruits, violets and minerality.

It is a 70% Cabernet and 30% Sangiovese blend. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel vats at controlled temperature and maceration lasts for about 12 days for both the Cabernet Sauvignon to the Sangiovese. It is then aged for 12 months in French and American oak barrels and for a further three months in the bottle. The wine is distinguished by a good structure and is extremely supple making it very pleasant and drinkable.
