Ever since the first release from the 1972 vintage, Church Block blends have been synonymous with great McLaren Vale red wine. Early wines were sourced from a neighbouring vineyard which ran adjacent to a small Bethany Church. This is the inaugural release of a single variety Church Block - highlighting Shiraz, which has been a part of every Church Block since 1972.

Purple with a bright ruby hue. Ripe red plum with a layer of star anise, cardamom and five spice. Balanced and generous with rippling plummy fruit, charcuterie, savoury herbs and velvety tannins. A serious and varietal Shiraz.  Pairs well with home cooked lasagne.

The Menzies is made as a "keeper" and can be cellared for 12 to 15 years. It drinks well now but will take on further complexity as it ages. Savour the wine with a mature cloth aged cheddar or gouda.

Yering Station's Little Yering Pinot Noir is a soft, approachable, and juicy red wine from the Yarra Valley, Victoria, Australia. It features aromas of ripe cherries, subtle oak, and savory spices. Showing deep ruby red, it releases intense aromas laden with rich spice and dried fruit; in the mouth it is a wine of superb richness and majestic flavours. Serve at cool room temperature, uncorking the bottle at least one hour beforehand. The perfect wine for all roasts and game, as well as for aged cheeses.
