Bouchard Aine Vdt Cuvee Rose
A beautiful clear rosé with purplish tints. Fruity with hints of gooseberry and citrus fruits.
Slightly acidic for optimum freshness. Pleasantly soft in the mouth and easy to drink.
Ideal with white meat dishes, grills or sliced ham.
-
Break Free Vin Nat Cabernet Franc
This Vin Nat Cabernet Franc is bright purple in colour, lifted bouquet of cherries and florals. Mixed cherry (ripe, sour, maraschino) colide across the mid-palate which sustains length, crunchy crisp acidity refreshes.
-
Bream Creek Pinot Noir
An elegant wine with a classic bouquet of bright cherry fruit and delicate perfumes of violets and a medley of other flowers. The palate has excellent line and length, showing the traditional cherry fruit for which Pinot Noir is known but then flowing into darker fruits.
-
Brigante Etefe Ciro Rosso Classico Superiore
A traditional wine, spicy and cool wine that reminds us of fruity taste and sublime aftertaste
-
Brise Maritime Rose
Very light pink colour, typical of the region’s wines. On the nose, the aromatic fan is well defined, where cassis and wild fruits predominate. In the mouth a well-balanced wine, pleasant and easy to drink. A tight, crisp experience on the palate that reveals fresh red berries with hints of strawberries.
-
Broccardo Barolo Bricco San Pietro Docg
Grapes are destemmed, softly crushed, and racked by gravity, without the use of mechanical pumps. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel vats for 15 days, at a controlled temperature of 25-29 °C. The wine is aged in Slavonian oak barrels for 24 months.
This is a classic Barolo, with a medium brick-garnet colour. The wine has aromas of violet, black tea, juniper berry and sandalwood. Those are complemented by fresh notes of eucalyptus and mint, with a juicy sour black cherry finish.
-
Brokenwood Beechwood Pinot Gris
Pinot Gris can vary in the amount of colour picked from the berries and this year there is that slight tell-tale sign of a pink skinned white. Lifted floral and ester characters dominate the aroma with a background of musk. The palate has richness to it, partly from the 13.5% alcohol and partly form solids left in the juice to give that extra layer of complexity. Very pleasant pear and honeysuckle flavours, long finish and perfect balance on the finish.
-
Brokenwood Chardonnay
Great colour of pale yellow and green tints. The aromas are in the tropical spectrum with background 'meal' characters from the yeast lees stirring. White peach flavours initially and soft cashew, vanillin oak feature on the palate. There is a medium alcohol and glycerol weight and a long finish. A great example of Brokenwood's complex, barrel fermented Chardonnay that will gain weight to give a full flavoured palate. The use of screw cap will ensure consistent aging.
-
Brokenwood Cricke Pitch White
Very appealing colour of bright pale yellow and green tints. A much lower alcohol due to the year and as a result more of the citrus/grassy character than tropical fruit. The Hunter Semillon adds a lemongrass note with some Bickford lime cordial aromas and flavours as well. Part of the blend is fermented in oak and this tends to round out the herbaceous edge that Sauvignon Blanc can sometimes get. A very good acid line and this adds to a loveliness on the finish. Definitely a wine to chill and enjoy in the short term.
-
Brokenwood Cricket Pitch Red
A medium to full bodied colour and density. Aromas of red cherry, spice and earthy edges. Mid weight palate with some Cabernet Sauvignon cedar up front that leads to soft Shiraz richness. The oak regime is mainly older American and French so limited impact although some vanillin on both nose and palate with a long sweet finish.
-
Brokenwood Semillon
Plenty of pale green tints. Lifted grassy citrus characters on the aromas. Sweet fruit flavours initially on the palate with some Bickford lime cordial notes. Excellent acid structure, importantly balanced with the fruit, long carry on the finish as well. Perfect in its youth, will bottle age gracefully for those that want a mature style.

Brokenwood Shiraz
A lovely deep red with purple hues on the rim. Being mostly from McLaren Vale there is plenty of dark berry aroma with the sweet oak marrying well. Some spice and Christmas pudding characters as well. The palate is rich and long. Liqueur cherry flavours, some oak. The tannins are quite soft and ripe, nothing ‘firm’ about this wine at all.
