The palate is a fresh yet textural style that has a focused acid line providing a long finish. This wine will cellar for 7 – 10 years.

A deep red hue, the nose is all plum and cherry with hints of liquorice and jubes. The palate is medium bodied with maximum flavour The rich berry-soaked palate is complemented with hints of tobacco leaf and toasty oak. The mid palate is bright and juicy with good depth of fruit and slightly chalky tannins. It finishes with cherry fruit, a fine line of tannins and great length

Lugana at its best with focus and vibrancy. In the glass, a bright platinum with a kiss of pale gold. Aromas are led by a citrus festival with stone fruit and wrapped in a layer of white florals and spice.

Our Lugana Prestige summarizes in its name the mix of top-quality elements that give it its special personality: clay-rich soil that is unique of its kind; the mild microclimate of Lake Garda; and the aristocratic indigenous Turbiana variety, which yields grapes with very particular typical characteristics. The grape selection for the production of Prestige takes place exclusively in the fairly mature Turbiana vineyards of the Maiolo property, the principal site of the Cà Maiol Estate.

It is a delicate wine with a long, tangy flavor, obtained by soft pressing and fermentation in stainless steel; it is ready for drinking after a brief maturation in bottle, in the spring of the year following the vintage.
