La Bastarda Pinot Grigio 750ml
This Pinot Grigio has a rich nose with notes of apple, pear and tropical fruit. Fresh with lively acidity.
Pairs perfectly with fish, shellfish and vegetable dishes.
-
La Belle Pierre Rose
Pale salmon colour, clear and bright. A pretty nose of lavender intermingled with soft notes of white nectarines. The palate is dry with satisfyingly cool acidity showing notes of Anjou pears with wild strawberries, balanced by a zesty savoury finish. The archetypal Mediterranean Rosé.
-
La Boheme Act 1 Riesling
Riesling is an under rated variety in the Yarra Valley. With an understanding of the variety it produces quite exotic textural aromatic wines with good natural acidity and an ability to balance slightly higher sugar levels. The addition of some old vine Gewurztraminer (planted in 1976) and a little upper Yarra Pinot Gris gives some additional complexity and interest to the wine.
-
La Boheme Act 2 Rose
The wine shows lifted notes of red fruits together with an underlying savouriness. The wine is naturally fermented in old French casks using indigenous yeasts with a little stirring of the lees at the end. The wine is pale, textural and delicious - perfect for summer drinking or as an aperitif all year round.
-
La Boheme Act 3 Pinot Grigio
This wine is delicate, faintly aromatic with classic Gris characters of pear and honey. It is a classic vintage for Pinot Gris with terrific balance of flavour, texture and aromatics.
-
La Boheme Act 4 Syrah Gamay
Vibrant purple. Spicy alluring nose of red and black fruits, dry herb, whole bunches. Supple richness, blueberry fruits, earth and forest, lots of spice and quite textural.
-
La Boheme Interlude Pinot Noir
The Yarra Valley’s very own opera diva, Dame Nellie Melba, enchanted the world as Mimi in ‘La Boheme. Puccini’s famous opera based in the characterful Latin Quarter of 1880s Paris has four acts; the last ending-as usual – in tragedy.
Set in a tavern in the Porte d’ Enter. Jealousy and happiness intertwine between Mimi and Rodolfo. Marcello and the flirtatious Musetta emerge from the tavern quarrelling. The four voices and their mixed emotions form a beautiful quartet.
La Boheme Interlude Pinot Noir is delicious with most cuisines.
-
La Boheme Missing Act Cabernet
Intense ruby with purple highlights. Potent and complex on the nose with spicy notes that mingle with aromas of blackcurrant, smoke, and balsamic nuances. Tastes of cherries, plums, liquorice, and rosemary. Mouth filling and elegant with lots of plumpness and texture. The oak perfectly fused in leaf, wild herbs and ripe fruit.
-
La Braccesca Vino Nobile Di Montepulciano Docg
At sight, it has a bright ruby red colour; the aromatic bouquet is intense and fragrant, composed of fruity scents of blackberries and spicy black pepper, cinnamon and vanilla. The taste is sapid and elegant, mineral, sweet fruited and enveloping. Excellent tannic texture well balanced and integrated into the body.
-
La Crema Monterey Chardonnay
Aromas of Meyer lemon, grilled pineapple, and guava are followed by flavors of nectarine, papaya, and lemon-tangerine, with touches of spice and minerality. The balanced acidity lingers on a long finish.
-
La Crema Monterey Pinot Noir
Aromas of cherry, rhubarb, and beets are followed by flavours of red plum, cranberry, and raspberry. Distinct minerality, juicy acidity, and integrated notes of barrel spice. Exceptionally smooth tannins with excellent power right through to the long silky finish.
-
La Guardiense Fiano
Plenty of fleshy fruit and lovely concentration but with a lick of salty goodness that keeps this oh-so-fresh! A little tropical hit on the nose with some tangy lemon and citrus pith too with some peppery spice for a bit of interest. Long and lush palate that finishes tangy and dry. Perfect summer fair.
