La Boheme Act 1 Riesling
Riesling is an under rated variety in the Yarra Valley. With an understanding of the variety it produces quite exotic textural aromatic wines with good natural acidity and an ability to balance slightly higher sugar levels. The addition of some old vine Gewurztraminer (planted in 1976) and a little upper Yarra Pinot Gris gives some additional complexity and interest to the wine.
-
La Boheme Act 2 Rose
The wine shows lifted notes of red fruits together with an underlying savouriness. The wine is naturally fermented in old French casks using indigenous yeasts with a little stirring of the lees at the end. The wine is pale, textural and delicious - perfect for summer drinking or as an aperitif all year round.
-
La Boheme Act 3 Pinot Grigio

-

La Boheme Interlude Pinot Noir
The Yarra Valley’s very own opera diva, Dame Nellie Melba, enchanted the world as Mimi in ‘La Boheme. Puccini’s famous opera based in the characterful Latin Quarter of 1880s Paris has four acts; the last ending-as usual – in tragedy.
Set in a tavern in the Porte d’ Enter. Jealousy and happiness intertwine between Mimi and Rodolfo. Marcello and the flirtatious Musetta emerge from the tavern quarrelling. The four voices and their mixed emotions form a beautiful quartet.
La Boheme Interlude Pinot Noir is delicious with most cuisines.
