Please read these terms carefully before using this website.
These terms and conditions govern your use of this website, operated by Amatos Liquor Mart. By using this website, including placing an order through our online order form, you agree to these terms.
As a condition of using this website, you agree to comply with and be subject to the following terms and conditions. These terms apply to your use of this website, including browsing, subscribing to our newsletter, contacting us through the contact form, and placing orders through our online order form.
If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use this website.
You must be 18 years of age or older to purchase alcohol from us. This is a requirement under the Liquor Act 2007 (NSW) and applicable state and territory liquor laws.
Our newsletter signup form requires you to confirm that you are at least 18 years of age before subscribing.
Amatos Liquor Mart holds a NSW packaged liquor licence (off-premises retail) under the Liquor Act 2007 (NSW). Our licence number is 700 353 090. We comply with all statutory conditions applicable to that licence type, including the Responsible Service of Alcohol obligations set out in Section 12.
These terms are subject to the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth), Schedule 2 (Australian Consumer Law). Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts, or modifies the consumer guarantee provisions of the Australian Consumer Law. See Section 10 for details.
We collect personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy. On this website, we collect information through:
We may update, modify, or remove content on this website at any time without notice. While we endeavour to keep this website accurate and up to date, we do not guarantee that all information is current, complete, or free from error at all times.
Product information on this website - including categories, descriptions, and varietals - is provided for general information only and does not constitute an offer to sell. Availability, pricing, and product details may differ in store. You may contact us to confirm details by phone on (02) 9560 7628 or email at amatos@amatos.com.au.
Photographs on this website are a guide only. The product you receive may look different from the image shown. Packaging changes from time to time, and colours can appear different depending on your screen or browser. We may also use a photograph of a different size of the same product. The name, size, and other written details shown with the product are what you are ordering.
Handmade items, such as our Gargiulo ceramics, are made one at a time, so each piece is unique and its colours and pattern may differ from the photo.
Many products on this website do not have an image yet. We are still getting the site to where we want it, and photographs will be added as we can. Please bear with us while that work continues.
This website includes a newsletter signup form powered by Mailchimp (operated by The Rocket Science Group LLC, a subsidiary of Intuit Inc.). By submitting the signup form, you:
When you sign up, you are subscribed to all interest categories (for example, wine, spirits, beer, events, and food). This ensures you receive the full range of our communications. You can update your preferences or unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of any email.
We will not share your email address with any third party other than Mailchimp for the purpose of sending our communications.
The contact forms on this website deliver your message to our email inbox via Web3Forms (web3forms.com), a third-party form delivery service. Web3Forms processes your submission solely to deliver it to us and does not permanently store your form data after delivery.
We will use the information you provide (name, email, phone number, and message) solely to respond to your enquiry. Our handling of this information is described in our Privacy Policy.
This website includes an online order form that allows you to submit an order enquiry. Placing an order through this form is not a confirmed purchase. It is a request for us to review your order, confirm availability, and send you an invoice by email.
A binding contract of sale is formed only when you receive and pay the invoice we send you. Until that point, either party may cancel the order without liability.
The prices displayed on this website at the time you place your order are the prices that will appear on your invoice for those products. Shipping costs are calculated separately and will be included on your invoice.
After we confirm product availability and any shipping cost, we will send you a tax invoice by email showing the final amount. Payment must be made by direct deposit using the bank details and payment reference shown on that invoice.
We will continue processing the order only after the payment is received. If we cannot match a payment to your order, processing may be delayed while we contact you. Orders not paid by the invoice due date may be cancelled.
The shop lists products we currently have available to order. We do not take pre-orders through this website.
The shop may list brands we expect in store shortly (for example, panettone and pandoro due in soon). Those products are not for sale, and they are not reserved, until they appear in the shop with a price and an option to add them to your order.
If you send us a message about a product that has not arrived, that message is an enquiry only. It is not an order, and you will not be charged unless we later invoice you for products that are in stock and you pay that invoice.
Until you pay an invoice, either you or we may cancel an order enquiry with no payment due. Once an invoice is paid, contact the store if you need to change or cancel the order.
We may update these terms and conditions from time to time. When we make changes, we will publish the updated terms on this website and update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Where practicable, we will provide advance notice of material changes.
Your continued use of this website after the notice period constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We encourage you to review these terms periodically.
Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. For major failures with the service, you are entitled: to cancel your service contract with us; and to a refund for the unused portion, or to compensation for its reduced value. You are also entitled to choose a refund or replacement for major failures with goods.
If a failure with the goods or a service does not amount to a major failure, you are entitled to have the failure rectified in a reasonable time. If this is not done, you are entitled to a refund for the goods and to cancel the contract for the service and obtain a refund of any unused portion.
You are also entitled to be compensated for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage from a failure in the goods or service.
Nothing in these terms purports to modify or exclude the conditions, warranties, and undertakings implied by the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth), Schedule 2 (Australian Consumer Law), and the equivalent state and territory legislation.
These guarantees apply to products purchased from us, whether in store or through our online order process.
Without excluding, restricting, or modifying the rights and remedies to which you may be entitled under the consumer guarantees provisions of the Australian Consumer Law or our liabilities under those provisions:
Amatos Liquor Mart is committed to the responsible service of alcohol. We comply with all applicable RSA requirements under the Liquor Act 2007 (NSW) and equivalent state and territory legislation.
We will refuse service to any person we reasonably believe to be intoxicated.

If you appear to be under the age of 25, we will ask you to present valid photographic identification before completing a sale. Acceptable forms of ID include a current Australian driver licence, passport, or proof-of-age card.
We accept orders for delivery through this website and by phone and email. Interstate delivery of alcohol in Australia is subject to state and territory liquor laws, which vary between jurisdictions.
Some states and territories - including Western Australia and the Northern Territory - impose restrictions or limits on the interstate delivery of alcohol to private consumers. These restrictions are set by law and are outside our control.
Before placing a delivery order, we recommend contacting us to confirm whether we can deliver to your location. We will not knowingly deliver alcohol to any address where doing so would contravene applicable state, territory, or Commonwealth legislation.
It is the recipient's responsibility to ensure that the receipt of alcohol delivered to their address complies with local laws. Where required, the recipient must be 18 years of age or older and may be asked to provide identification upon delivery.
